Bible Conference

On December 20 and 21, we attended a Bible Conference hold by Bible Faith Baptist Church in Zaragoza. Reynan was one of the many speakers for the conference. Reynan spoke on the history of the King James Bible.
The conference was well attended. We hosted about fifty people. The conference was a great opportunity to share the reason why we choose the King James Bible over all others. The church congregation was truly blessed by all the Pastors' messages. We thank God for his word.

A busy end for the year

We are heading for the end of 2011. We are doing well. There are many little updates to share.
First we have found a home. The house is in St. Rosa, Nueva Ecija. St. Rosa is about twenty minutes north of Zaragoza, where we are now. St. Rosa is next to Cabanatuan. The house that we will be renting has a lot of work to be done. We will hope to be moved in by January.
We have start a Bible study in one neighbourhoods of St. Rosa. Fifteen to ten children come and we have games and  tell Bible stories. The adults in are becoming more and more interested in the Gospel. Please pray that we will have the opportunity to start an adult study group.
Reynan will be speaking at a Bible conference this week. The conference celebrates in anniversary of the King James Bible. I will post more on the conference next week.

Reynan give the gospel using the wordless book. We are exited for next week. We pray that more kids will joint the club. Thank God for his blessings.

Tracts

On Wednesday we went passing out tracts in front the church in Zaragoza. The Church is next to one of the elementary schools and the High School. We are working to build the youth department up, while we start the outreach in Aliaga. We passed out about 300 tract that day. We also invited the kids to Bible Club on Friday.

VISITATION

This Saturday we revisited Aliaga. We passing out tracts at the open market.  We also have a bible studies in three different homes. It is harvest time here. The roads are more dangerous for us to drive on. The farmers cover spots in the road to dry the rice. Some farmers lay big tree limbs in the road or other objects to block you from their rice drying. So we are weaving in and out of traffic. It is exciting for Zech. He loves seeing the kalabaw (the water buffalo) pulling the carts. We had a good welcome with the people in Aliaga. We are still looking for a place to rent. Please pray that we find one soon.
Thanks

Chicken feet

Zech is enjoying his dinner of rice and chicken feet. We were surprised to see that he liked them so much. Reynan cooked chicken feet and heads that some one give the family. As for me, I couldn't eat it. I ate some noodles. Zech eat about three chicken feet and one chicken head.

Starting the work

We have start the working Aliaga, Philippines. We are still in the need of much prayer. We need to find a building to start a church. We know it is there because God will provide our needs. We are waiting in His time. The church is not just a building. The people are the church. Taking this knowledge, we are sowing the seed of God's word. We have been witnessing to the people of Aliaga. We are prayering about starting our first Bible study soon. The people are asking for a church and we hold strong that God will supply their need.

Thank God for our safe trip to the Philippines. The flights were long but we slept most of the time by we I mean Zech. We arrived on time in Manila, Thursday. Reynan's family picked us up from the airport and we made our journey to his  family's house.  We were greeted by family and neighbours at our arrival.
Zech is doing fine. He is playing with all the cousins and kids in the neighbourhood. His good friends mosquitoes visited him too. Pray that he adjusts to the itching quickly.
